Welcome back. I hope you are following along on our journey to set up better routines for our lives and homes. I am using the Fly Lady’s 31 Baby steps for Beginners.
I’m going to be honest, it is 1:15pm and I just checked in with the Fly Lady to get my day 2 assignment. She told me to get up and get dressed to the shoes first thing this morning. Welllll, I am dressed and have shoes on, but it wasn’t first thing in the morning.
Normally by now I would give up and decide that I can’t do it, I’ve already messed up. Anyone else with me? I will not give up, I will keep going. Good news is that my assignment now is to shine my sink tonight before bed and get dressed first thing in the morning.
One thing she suggests is to write reminder notes to yourself. This is what helped her create her first control journal. Since I missed the assignment today, I think I’ll try this. I will write a note to remember to shine my sink and one to remind me to get dressed first thing in the morning. Wish me luck. How are you doing on your journey? Please share!
